Ashdod maintains a high level of resilience, which is evident in the responsible behavior of its residents. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the discipline you are demonstrating. It is important and critical to provide the IDF with breathing space in its defense missions.
We are prepared and alert for any immediate security development, but also carry out preparatory and preparation activities for a prolonged campaign,
while maintaining functional continuity of all urban systems.

In this context, I would like to continue to adhere to the Home Front Command's instructions, and to note that in the event of an alarm, the protected area must be approached with the utmost caution. Unfortunately, every day there are cases of injury in the city, as a result of falls on the way to the emergency room, and as many of you have family members or elderly neighbors who need help, we will safely escort them to protection.

Today, I also call on you to celebrate the holiday of Purim with your family and in close proximity to standard protection, let's end the holiday together in peace.

In accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Education, there will be no classes until the end of the week. The educational teams will contact the students for distance learning and emotional relief.

In addition, training activities for parents are available to you through the School for Parents. All details are on the municipality's website. You are invited to take part in them and receive tools for family management in an emergency.
